Antonio Brown is out of the NFL while JuJu Smith-Schuster has become the face of the Pittsburgh Steelers receiving corps. No one ever thought that it would end up this way, but a lot of Steelers fans are happy with JuJu picking up where Brown left off.

Brown is far from impressed with what he's seen from Smith-Schuster in his first year as the lone star receiver for the Steelers, though. He said that he's not feeling any remorse when it comes to the way he cut off the 23-year-old wide receiver from his life, as he told The Morning Show on The Fan (as written by Steelers Wire's Curt Popejoy).

However, this statement is quite curious due to the circumstances: he was on a Pittsburgh radio show as he continued to make his apology tour. He was apologizing to the Steelers and its fans for the way he waltzed out of the team. The way he brushed off Smith-Schuster left a lot scratching their heads.

“I have nothing against JuJu Smith-Schuster. Why would I? I am who he wants to be. I’m in a position when he’s describing to be. Running around with 500 yards and everyone thinks he’s the world. Steelers didn’t make the playoffs. That is a problem.

I gave the guy JuJu Smith all the positive cheat codes. All the stuff to be successful. And to watch a guy call me out when I’m moving forward for positive. The first thing he do when I get picked is post me like he ready.”

His ramblings do come from the stat book: Smith-Schuster only had 552 receiving yards and three touchdowns to his name this season. However, it's also important to remember that the Steelers didn't have a great quarterback since Ben Roethlisberger had to end his season early due to an elbow injury.

It remains to be seen what happens in the latest chapter of Brown's career. Meanwhile, Smith-Schuster should just keep his head down and focus on getting better for next season.
