Antonio Brown's future with the Pittsburgh Steelers is in question, to say the least. After a tumultuous final week of the 2018 regular season, it's looking like the Steelers are going to try and trade Brown this offseason.

It's not like Brown has done himself any favors since Week 17, essentially doing nothing but aggravating Pittsburgh's organization even further.

As a result, it's hard to imagine Brown wearing black and gold come Week 1 in 2019, and even the wide receiver himself knows this.

That's why he took to Twitter on Saturday to thank Steelers fans for their passion throughout his nine-year tenure with the team, also saying that it's not a goodbye:

Now, here is the thing: is Brown saying “this is not a goodbye” because he thinks there is a chance of him returning next season, or is he saying it as a typical platitude?

Judging from the fact that Brown removed anything Steelers-related from his Twitter bio, it's probably the latter.

As abrasive as Brown's personality has been at times, there is no denying that he is one of the most talented wide outs to ever step on the gridiron and will certainly be in the Hall of Fame one day.

Throughout his Pittsburgh tenure, Brown made seven Pro Bowls and earned First-Team All-Pro honors four times.

This past season, the 31-year-old was awarded with his sixth consecutive trip to Honolulu after hauling in 104 receptions for 1,297 yards and a league-leading 15 touchdowns.

Brown has also led the league in both receptions and receiving yards two times apiece in his career.
