Pittsburgh Steelers star wide receiver Antonio Brown was notably absent from the team practice facility on Monday following the 42-37 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs.

Brown has since been back in the fold to which he provided clarity on the situation on Thursday stating that he is committed to the franchise and is simply angered by the team's slow start out of the gate to the 2018 season, according to Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.

“You guys don't know me at all,” Brown said. “You guys just write what you think gonna get hits. Everyone in this locker room knows what I stand for, knows what I'm about. I'm committed to this program and this organization. I'm fully here. I go to work every day, about my business, and I don't take it for granted. My business is winning here. I come here to win. We ain't winning, you damn right I'm pissed off.”

This should immediately further erase any of that chatter that he was considering asking for a trade as he comments on social media came from his disappointment in the Steelers' struggles in the first two games of the season. It has put the team in a bit of a hole that has them tied for last place in the AFC North with the Cleveland Browns.

Brown looks to be quite determined to help his team get back on the right track of competing for the playoffs and even further than that this season. This should see a high level of involvement in the offensive game plan this week against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as one of the primary targets in the passing game next to second-year wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster.

It has set the table for a critical game in Week 3 that could go a long way in helping the Steeler to push forward toward their Super Bowl aspirations.
