What happens when a Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver and a Carolina Panthers quarterback meet up in Miami? A workout, of course. That’s exactly what transpired recently when Antonio Brown and Cam Newton hooked up in South Beach, as the two hit the gym and did some pre-training camp activities, per TMZ Sports.
Antonio Brown and Cam Newton worked out with each other in Miami this week … and as the Panthers star QB put it — there was “so much swag and juice” on the videos of it all … “your phone probably leakin' right now!!”
They also took the action to the field. Here’s a video of the two doing some additional work on the gridiron.
It’s nice to see for the fans of the Steelers and Panthers to see their respective stars making preparations of their own for the 2018 NFL season. It speaks to their commitment and dedication to the grind.
Antonio Brown and the Steelers fell short of their goal to win the Super Bowl last season, as they lost to the Jacksonville Jaguars in the divisional round in the AFC. Newton and the Panthers, on the other hand, fell to the New Orleans Saints in the NFC Wild Card Game back in January.
But while Brown and Newton seem to have a nice rapport and look good connecting on the practice field, don’t expect the two to be playing on the same team any time soon. Brown is under contract with the Steelers until 2022, while Newton is a Carolina controllable asset until 2021.
