The Pittsburgh Steelers look to have found a gem in rookie Najee Harris. Longtime quarterback Ben Roethlisberger feels the exact same way.

Roethlisberger had nothing but praise for Najee Harris when asked about his development in his maiden season with the Steelers.

Via Saturday Down South:

“He wants to do more than just be a great runner,” Roethlisberger said of the Steelers rookie. “Being a running back is about more than just being a good runner. Pass pro. Down the field, I think even on one of the reverses I was watching, he at least got in the way and created a block. So I think he takes pride in wanting to be great, and we’re seeing a lot of growth.”

Just as a running back, Najee Harris has already lives up to the expectations on a first-round selection thus far. He ranks just one yard short of being in the top 10 in rushing yards in the entire NFL. He's garnered three rushing touchdowns while also giving up zero fumbles thus far.

But he's also found a way to contribute in other ways, which shows his maturity as a team player this early in his career. Steelers fans have taken notice, and apparently so has Big Ben.
