Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger has never been the most accessible player in the league. Those that have attempted to contact him via social media are all too familiar with this notion.

Fortunately, it appears that may no longer be the case. According to Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk, Roethlisberger reportedly plans to unblock all accounts on Twitter:

And, per a source with knowledge of the situation, that is changing.

The block party is ending. The plan is to unblock all accounts, and implementation was due to commence on Tuesday.

It remains to be seen that reasoning behind Ben Roethlisberger's blocking spree or what convinced him to put an end to it. Regardless, fans can take solace in the fact that not everyone is immediately exposed to getting blocked for reasons that have largely been unclear.

Roethlisberger has endured a busy offseason making his full-fledged return to the field. He even took to social media to officially announce his comeback with a haircut and shave despite the restrictions that had been in place due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic at the time. The veteran caught plenty of flak for his decision, and it is safe to say that this resulted in even more accounts getting blocked.

The Steelers have not been shy about expressing their high expectations for the 2020 NFL season now that Roethlisberger is back. It is safe to say that he will get to witness all that social media now has to offer as he looks to spark a potential resurgence on offense.
