The tragic news of Dwayne Haskins' passing has brought the NFL community together to remember him. During his time with the Pittsburgh Steelers, Haskins apparently left a pretty big impression on legendary quarterback Ben Roethlisberger.

The two shared the quarterback room during Dwayne Haskins' time with the Steelers last season. That gave Big Ben the chance to really get to know Haskins on a day-to-day basis.

The Steelers icon left a heartfelt message dedicated to Dwayne Haskins on Twitter.

“I only had the privilege to know D-Hask for a short time, but in that time I got to meet a young man that didn't seem to ever have a bad day. He came to work everyday with a smile on his face and energy and love in his heart,” said Roethlisberger on his fallen Steelers teammate.

He even dropped a little nugget that was likely going to stay between the two of them.

“I'll say it again just like I told you to your face, I still wish I could throw the ball like you!!” continued the longtime Steelers QB.

Dwayne Haskins still had a long NFL career ahead of him. With the retirement of Ben Roethlisberger, who knows what could have happened had he continued to impress within the Steelers organization.
