Pittsburgh Steelers outside linebacker Bud Dupree is suspected to have torn his ACL in Wednesday's game against the Baltimore Ravens.

According to NFL Network's Mike Garofalo and Aditi Kinkhabwala, initial tests on Dupree indicate a torn ligament. He will undergo an MRI to confirm the diagnosis and determine the extent of the damage. Of course, a torn ACL would end the edge rusher's impressive 2020 campaign with the Steelers.

Dupree left the postponed Week 12 matchup in the fourth quarter.

In the video of the play, he could be seen going down with an apparent non-contact knee injury while coming off the edge for a blitz and cutting left while going after Ravens third-string QB Trace McSorley.

Bud Dupree limped off the field and looked frustrated talking to Steelers' medical staff on the sideline before heading to the locker room.

Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin declined to provide a detailed update after the game, but he said he would have more information by the time he talks to reporters on Thursday.

Dupree entered Week 12 with eight sacks on the season—fifth-most in the NFL. He recorded five tackles and two tackles for loss against Baltimore before being forced to exit the divisional showdown.

As Garofalo noted, the 27-year-old is playing on a franchise tag and is set to hit free agency after the season. Obviously, a significant knee injury could directly impact his market value.

Dupree is amid his sixth season with the Steelers and fourth as a full-time starter. He has 39.5 sacks in his career.

Rookie linebacker Alex Highsmith subbed in for Dupree.
