The title of which NFL fanbase is best is constantly up for grabs, with thousands of fans likely fighting about who is better at any given moment.
According to Colin Cowherd, however, that decision has already been made.
Taking to his television show The Herd With Colin Cowherd, Cowherd said that he believed the Pittsburgh Steelers fanbase was the number one in the league. Giving the Steelers Nation this distinction was prompted by a recent bracket challenge on Twitter that attempted to find the best fanbase.

According to that bracket, the Cleveland Browns came out on top, but according to Cowherd, it’s the Steelers fans who take the cake, and he might not be wrong.
According to data from WalletHub via 247 Sports, who recently conducted a study to find the best city for fans, the Steelers were ranked as the number one city in America for pro football fans, with Boston, Green, Dallas, and New Orleans coming in the following spots.
The study used data that ranged from the number of NFL and college football teams to average ticket prices, to “fan friendliness,” giving each city its own chance.
While the Steelers may have the title of best fanbase, the team itself is going through some struggles.
After losing All-Pro talents in Le’Veon Bell and Antonio Brown, the team will have to try and bounce back, as they aim to return to the playoffs once again become a powerhouse in the AFC, all while competing in a suddenly much more competitive AFC North division.
