Pittsburgh Steelers coach Mike Tomlin has received a lot of criticism this offseason and most of came by surprise. Former Steelers star James Harrison bashed Tomlin saying that he needs to be more disciplined and do a better job of keeping his players on the same page.

Steelers General Manager Kevin Colbert tried to dispute those comments and said that Tomlin still has full control of the locker room and he is doing a job of leading the organization.

“I had no question about our mental preparation, our internal organization and how our team is run,” Colbert said via Jeremy Fowler of ESPN. “No concern whatsoever about our team's attitude, discipline and all that other stuff that's talked about. Absolutely no concern.”

There has also been a lot of heat from fans after the Steelers fell flat against the Jacksonville Jaguars in last years playoffs. Colbert points out that fans don't see what's going on inside the locker room, and everything is still good there.

“[People] don't see the coach Tomlin in a meeting room; they don't hear a coach Tomlin talk to his team and watch them pay attention,” Colbert said. “They don't see him in a one-on-one meeting with a player whether a player is doing something good or bad.”

Even with the vote of confidence from Colbert, there is still a sense of urgency with this team and they need to win now. There is only going to be a few more chances to win a Super Bowl with Ben Roethlisberger as their quarterback.
