The Pittsburgh Steelers offense was simply sensational against the Carolina Panthers. Ben Roethlisberger had a perfect night while James Conner and Antonio Brown each scored a touchdown as the Steelers smashed the Panthers, 52-21.

Brown’s touchdown was his 10th of the year, while Conner’s was his 11th. That made them the first teammates to have at least 10 touchdowns apiece in their team’s first nine games of the season since Abner Haynes and Chris Burford for the 1962 Chiefs.

Conner has been an absolute revelation this season filling in for Le’Veon Bell. The second-year running back has already tied Bell’s single-season touchdown career-high with 11, and he’s still got seven more games to add to it.

As for Brown, it wasn’t that long ago that there were concerns about his faulty connection with Roethlisberger (which he famously compared to WiFi) after a shaky start to the season. The signal is obviously sky-high these days as he caught all six targets for 96 yards and a touchdown against the Panthers. He also extended his impressive streak of consecutive games with a touchdown to seven.

Considering just how well the two Steelers stars have played coupled with the fact that there are still a lot of games left on the season, it’s not out of the question that both finish the year with at least 15 touchdowns. That would be another incredible milestone if they do get there.

If Brown and Conner continue to rack up the touchdowns, there’s a good chance the streaking Steelers will also continue to rack up those wins.
