James Conner has suffered multiple injuries with the Pittsburgh Steelers this season. Another one may cost him the rest of Sunday's game. According to Rich Cimini, Conner is questionable to return versus the New York Jets after a thigh injury.

Over the past month or so, Conner has dealt with a shoulder injury that sidelined him for five games. Now, the Pittsburgh product is dealing with a thigh injury along with his shoulder.

Before leaving the game on Sunday, Conner had six attempts for 32 yards. That gives him 116 carries for 464 yards and four touchdowns on the season. He's also combined for 34 receptions, 251 yards, and three touchdowns as a receiver.

With Conner heading to the sideline, Benny Snell and Jaylen Samuels will likely see an uptick in touches. Both running backs have become comfortable with larger workloads this year with Conner dealing with injuries.

The Steelers can ill afford to suffer any more injuries as they attempt to make the postseason. A loss on Sunday to the Jets on Sunday wouldn't eliminate the Steelers from playing beyond December.

But at the same time, it would make Week 17's contest versus the Baltimore Ravens a must-win game. There's no doubt that Mike Tomlin would like to avoid that scenario by winning in Week 16.

In his first two seasons a starter, James Conner has missed eight games due to injury. Luckily for Pittsburgh, they have a few running backs who can replace the production of the tough-nosed running back. We will have an update on Conner's status as more information comes out.
