James Conner of the Pittsburgh Steelers has been through a ton in his life and could someday have a movie made that portrays his life story. If Conner ever has a biopic made of him in the future, the Steelers running back would prefer to see The Rock play him.

In a video interview with TMZ Sports, Conner spoke about how Dwyane “The Rock” Johnson would be a perfect casting choice for him. Conner jokingly pointed out that he's been in the gym more this offseason and he has tattoos similar to Johnson.

Last month, Conner published a book about his life story called “Fear is a Choice” that speaks about his incredible journey to the NFL. Therefore, after having a book created, the next goal for Conner could be to create a movie that shows the adversities he experienced.

Back in college, at the University of Pittsburgh, James Conner would sustain a torn MCL in his junior season. While he attempted to battle back, he noticed he was having other pains in his body. As a result, he went to the doctors and discovered he had Hodgkins Lymphoma — a form of cancer.

Nevertheless, Conner defeated cancer and was able to make a return to the gridiron for his senior season. Of course, he would then defy the odds, being taken in the third round of the 2017 NFL Draft by the Steelers. On May 23 of this year, Conner celebrated his four-year anniversary of being cancer-free.

Regardless of what adversities everyone is going through, Conner's story is one that draws inspiration for others. Perhaps the former third-round pick attempts to translate his battle with cancer, with The Rock portraying him, on to the big screen.
