The Pittsburgh Steelers suffered a devastating loss to the New Orleans Saints on Sunday night, letting a late four-point lead slip through their fingers along with their lead in the AFC North.

Steelers cornerback Joe Haden was not too happy with the officiating in the game. While he didn't blame the referees for the loss, he said that some of the calls were frustrating:

“It is what it is, man. It’s an offensive game. You can’t touch these guys,” Haden said, according to Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com. “At the same time, with the pushoff, they didn’t say anything about Michael [Thomas] pushing me off in the end zone for the last play. It’s just tough being a defensive back, but we gotta [play] — that’s what we do. It just sucks sometimes when those games, those plays are just so big and they’re weighed differently. And it can just make or break momentum and everything. So it’s very, very unfortunate and it sucks. I’m pissed. But next time I’ll try to make sure I can make those plays without getting the call.”

Haden was hit with a big pass interference call on fourth down late in the game, giving the Saints new life. New Orleans proceeded to score a touchdown on that drive to take a 31-28 lead that would end up being the final score.

Now, to make the playoffs, Pittsburgh will have to beat the Cincinnati Bengals next weekend and hope that the Cleveland Browns defeat the Baltimore Ravens or that the Indianapolis Colts and Tennessee Titans tie.

Obviously, the latter scenario doesn't seem very likely, so the Steelers will all be pulling for Baker Mayfield next Sunday.
