On Sunday, the Pittsburgh Steelers grinded out their seventh win of the season in a 20-17 road win over the Indianapolis Colts.

However, it came at a cost as Pro Bowl cornerback Joe Haden who suffered a broken leg in the win that has placed him out indefinitely, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.

Although the Steelers have yet to rule Haden out for the rest of the season, he will likely miss several weeks due to the injury. He at least has been declared out for Thursday's action against the Tennessee Titans, which could be a pivotal game in each team's push toward the playoffs.

The 28-year-old had been acquired by the Steelers in late August after he was released by the Cleveland Browns as he signed a three-year, $27 million contract that included a signing bonus of $5.75 million. Haden had quickly assumed one of the starting cornerback spots playing opposite of William Gay.

His loss will test the depth of their secondary as veteran defensive back Coty Sensabaugh is expected to assume the starting duties with Haden out of the lineup. There is a growing sense that he could return at some point in the second half of the season, but that should receive more clarity in the coming days.
