JuJu himself tweeted out a video clip, presumably pumped up about his return to the Steel City.
This is my home, they’re gonna need a wrecking ball to take me outta here! PITTSBURGH I LOVE YOU, LET’S GO!!!!! 💛🖤💛🖤 pic.twitter.com/SPFvCLUmFl

All offseason it appeared that Smith-Schuster was headed elsewhere, mainly due to the Steelers cap issues. However, he will return, and the return of Ben Roethlisberger also puts this team right back into contention in the AFC North.
The Steelers got bounced by the Cleveland Browns in the first round of the playoffs and things looked rough for Pittsburgh.
Many analysts had Smith-Schuster pegged to sign a hefty, long-term deal, so his return to Pittsburgh-especially on a one-year deal- is a bit of a surprise. JuJu signed the one-year deal worth $8 million in a huge boost for the Steelers offense.

Steelers fans rejoice, the wide receiver corps of JuJu, Chase Claypool, Diontae Johnson, and James Washington remains one of the best in the NFL.
To no surprise, JuJu had lots of suitors for his services, although the reported offers are a bit surprising.
This is true. The #Ravens came in with the highest offer. And JuJu still stayed home. https://t.co/5ygrynGjxd

While JuJu regressed a bit last year, he still posted 97 catches with 831 yards and nine scores and had a huge game in the playoffs against the Browns, finishing that one with 13 grabs for 157 yards and a touchdown.
Terrific news for the Steelers and their fanbase in bringing back one of their own and a fan favorite as the Steelers look to make one last title run before Big Ben decides to call it a career.
