JuJu Smith-Schuster is shedding his questionable tag. The Pittsburgh Steelers star wide receiver is expected to play against the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday, according to Dianna Russini of ESPN. Previously, Smith-Schuster was a surprise addition to the team's injury report with a toe injury.

Smith-Schuster practiced in full on Wednesday and Thursday before being a limited participant on Friday. He has not missed a game in 2019. As a rookie in 2017, he missed two due to a hamstring injury.

On the season, Smith-Schuster has 33 receptions for 459 yards and three touchdowns, which converts to 66 receptions for 918 yards and six touchdowns over a full-season—a far-cry from his Pro-Bowl production in 2018. Though the third-year wideout has not reaped the benefits of being the No. 1 option in Pittsburgh, he continues to command the attention of defenses. The more attention diverted his way, the more opportunities his teammates have to succeed.

Smith-Schuster will see a lot of cornerback Jalen Ramsey during the matchup. On Friday, Ramsey famously said Smith-Schuster is not his former teammate, Antonio Brown. Said Ramsey, via Lindsey Thiry of ESPN:

“No disrespect to him, he’s not Antonio Brown. I matched up with Antonio for two years there, and that was a good battle. I held my own in those battles. Now, I’m going against a different person, a different body type, a different receiver a little bit. He can make plays. But I’m playing my game. I’m not really worried about it.”

Grab your popcorn, Sunday's dual between Smith-Schuster and Ramsey looks to be a good one.
