Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster has solidified himself as one of the most promising young players in the NFL. However, it seems he is well aware that a part of his success can be attributed to wide receiver Antonio Brown.

Smith-Schuster is in the midst of a stellar sophomore campaign. According to Chris Adamski of the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review, he says the focus on Brown has allowed him and the other young players on offense to thrive this season:

“Obviously, he’s been here for [nine] years,” Smith-Schuster said. “He’s getting double teamed, triple teamed; it’s hard, you know? But he still makes his plays and he still has the explosive plays that he’s making. And for me to be a young guy, me and [running back James Conner] and some of the other guys are being able to eat off his plate because of what he’s done in the past.”

It is encouraging to see that Smith-Schuster is giving credit where it is due, especially when there is plenty of truth to his comments. Brown has been widely considered as the best wide receiver in football over the last several years. As a result, he has become a point of emphasis for opposing defenses.

Smith-Schuster has done a remarkable job of reaping the spoils. He has become Pittsburgh's leading receiver with 77 receptions for 1,055 yards. Meanwhile, Brown has hauled in 71 catches for 974 yards. However, he still remains quarterback Ben Roethlisberger's favorite red zone target with a league-leading 11 touchdowns.

At this point, it is safe to say that the Steelers boast arguably the most talented wide receiver duo in the NFL. It is clear JuJu Smith-Schuster hopes to keep it this way for years to come.
