Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster watches a lot of film of other receivers in the league and one guy he keeps a keen eye on is Green Bay Packers star, Davante Adams. Smith-Schuster is over in London being an ambassador for the NFL and took questions from young men participating in his camp.

Smith-Schuster said that Adams and DeAndre Hopkins are two guys he has really watched while trying to improve his game.

“I really like Davante Adams. He’s really nice. If you ever get to watch his film, his releases, his routes, he’s really smooth,” Smith-Schuster said.

After being a second-round pick in the 2014 draft, Adams quickly has made a name for himself and become Aaron Rodgers favorite target. In 15 games last year Adams caught 111 passes for 1,386 yards and 13 touchdowns. That was enough to be named to a Pro Bowl, an honor that Smith-Schuster also received.

Smith-Schuster had similar numbers as Adams but didn't find the end zone as many times, racking up 111 catches for 1,426 yards and seven touchdowns.

Smith-Schuster and Adams build are pretty similar which is probably a reason why he watches so much film of him. The one question heading into this season is can Smith-Schuster take over the number one receiving role as well as Adams has.

There are many who say that with Brown gone, and Smith-Schuster receiving the double teams his numbers could drop. Smith-Schuster will have to prove the doubters wrong, just like Adams did when Jordy Nelson went off the Oakland Raiders.
