There has been a growing level of frustration spewing from Pittsburgh Steelers third-year wide receiver Martavis Bryant about his role in the offense.

It has now led to Bryant now calling out of a mandatory team meeting on Monday morning, according to Ed Bouchette of Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.

The 25-year-old has subtly hinted at wanting out of Pittsburgh over the last couple of weeks due to his notable decrease in involvement in the passing game as he has just 18 catches for 234 yards and touchdown through the first games of this season. It has now put him tied for third on the team in catches and second in receiving yards.

All of this had also led to him to take a shot at rookie wideout JuJu Smith-Schuster via Instagram in a now-deleted comment. Smith-Schuster has progressively taken up a more prominent role in the last few games as he has compiled 17 catches for 231 yards and three touchdowns while garnering multiple catches in each of the previous six contests.

For what it's worth, the trade deadline is fast approaching in just over a week away on Oct. 31 at 4 p.m. ET. This chatter could pick up in the coming week if the situation continues to persist. Bryant is in the third year of his four-year, $2.6 million rookie deal.
