The Pittsburgh Steelers got a bit of a scare in practice Tuesday as center Maurkice Pouncey went down with an apparent injury, per Bryan Deardo of 247Sports.

Thankfully, Pouncey looked to be just fine after having some work done on him by team trainer Jon Norwig.

Pouncey has arguably been the best center in the league since his arrival in Pittsburgh in 2010. He’s made the Pro Bowl during all six of the seasons where he’s managed to stay healthy, and also has two First-Team All-Pro selections.

Pouncey going down with an injury would’ve been a huge blow for the Steelers, who have already suffered a couple of significant injuries this offseason, particularly to their offensive line. Swing tackle Jerald Hawkins was lost for the season after he suffered a torn quad during OTAs.

Meanwhile, starting left guard Ramon Foster suffered a hyperextended knee earlier in camp and is not expected to be back for at least three more weeks.

Other notable injury concerns include starting wideouts Antonio Brown, who will miss the team’s preseason opener against the Philadelphia Eagles along with Ben Roethlisberger, and JuJu Smith-Schuster.

Luckily, Pouncey appears to be fine following his injury scare and is likely to play at least some part against the Eagles.
