Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Devlin Hodges threw four interceptions on Sunday and coach Mike Tomlin isn't ready to commit to him starting going forward. Tomlin seemed more frustrated with the question about who would be his starter rather than how Hodges performed.

“I am not getting into that, guys,” Tomlin said via triblive.com. “We just lost a football game. I’m not going to make an announcement every week or every time I stand in front of you guys in terms of who is playing quarterback or any other position for that matter.”

Hodges said he hoped he would be the starter on Sunday against the New York Jets, but he would be supportive no matter what the coaching staff decided to do.

“I hope I’m the guy,” Hodges said, “but whatever happens, happens. I’m going to be supportive. This is about the team, not me.”

Hodges said the losing sucks, but it's not going to change his preparation for the game. Even with the four interceptions, he said he still has a lot of confidence in his game.

“You hate to lose,” Hodges said, “but I think after the first loss, how you respond is going to define who I am. I mean, yeah, I’m disappointed right now, but in a couple days I’m still going to be who I am. I’m still going to be confident, still going to know that I can get the job done.”

The Steelers are still in the playoff race, but the team probably can't lose another game. Whoever the Steelers decide to start needs to play better and lead the team to a couple more victories.
