In the last several weeks, there has been much media attention toward Pittsburgh Steelers star running back Le'Veon Bell's holdout from the team that doesn't appear to have a resolution in sight. This has led to may opinions being expressed about Bell's NFL career moving forward with much of that being put in a negative light.

In response to one of the latest pieces voicing that the 26-year-old may be hurting his future in the league, Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Mike Wallace — who also held out during his time with the Steelers — took to Twitter to back his colleague's stance.

It has been a situation where it has turned to Bell being perceived as the one halting things as he has remained firm on what he was looking for on his next deal but didn't receive that in either of the last two offseasons while the franchise tag was placed on him in both instances. It has reached a point to where several of the Steelers' offensive line voiced their frustrations with the situation that were directed at their teammate deciding to continue to hold out with his best individual interests in mind.

Wallace continued to defend Bell with fans stating that he had received a $70 million contract offer that was reportedly turned down, but voiced that this may not be what it had been publicly perceived as there is much more to it all than what meets the eye.

He also took it a step further after another fan questioned Bell's passion for the game being more for the money as he stated that he can't be judged in that manner as there is no clear knowledge as to what the Steelers running back's intentions are with his contract holdout as it could be the betterment for his fellow colleagues at the position.

In many ways, he has impacted that realm with a few other notable running backs have received new deals in wake of that with Todd Gurley getting a four-year, $57.5 million contract extension from the Los Angeles Rams. Meanwhile, David Johnson earned a three-year, $39 million extension from the Arizona Cardinals just prior to the start of the season. It is has been a difficult process for Bell, but it could wind out working in his favor when all is said and done.
