The exodus has begun. After star running back Le'Veon Bell failed to report to the Pittsburgh Steelers for the last time on Tuesday,  fans of the storied NFL franchise reacted in a way many do these days when a star player is done with their team.

Steelers fans have had enough of what was once considered to be one of their best all-around offensive players. Bell has made his decision to sit out the entire season forfeiting more than $14 million and that's not sitting well with some of the Steelers faithful as can be plainly seen in the video below.

Following a long and drawn out process that has gone all the way to Week 11, the Steelers and Bell will almost certainly sever their relationship after the season while he tests free agency. Pittsburgh, however, seems more than content with that solution with James Conner turning out to be a solid feature back and happy with his role with the team.

Although Bell will sit out the entire 2018 NFL season, the 26-year-old will have plenty of suitors once he becomes available to the highest bidder during the offseason. Bell is still widely considered to be one of the best backs in the league and can definitely fill a need for a number of teams around the NFL that could use a versatile player of his caliber.

Only time will tell where Bell will end up and if the Steelers are truly better off with him. In the meantime, Pittsburgh will press on with Super Bowl aspirations and Conner filling the void in the backfield.
