The Antonio Brown drama-trauma saga continues as the embattled Pittsburgh Steelers star continues to receive resistance against his request for a trade.

As we'd reported earlier, Brown is requesting a trade from the Steelers, after nine years of calling Pittsburgh home. The wide receiver has been benched since Week 17 of last season, allegedly because he was “missing practices.” However, it's almost common knowledge that Brown's issues stem mostly from his issues with quarterback Ben Roethlisberger.

As we'd also reported earlier today, Brown was also found guilty of reckless driving after a court ruled on an incident that happened in November 2018. Brown was driving over 100 MPH in the Rose Township district of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and though he wasn't in the courtroom when his attorney pleaded guilty, his attorney also had no comment about the matter.

That said, not all of the news about Brown is necessarily bad. He'd made an appearance at the Grammy Awards a few nights ago, and he's never been more popular than he is right now in the pop culture zeitgeist.

And, according to 24/7 Sports, the chances are extremely high that the Steelers will end up keeping Brown, despite his protestations to the contrary.

“It appears that Brown (or at least his representatives) have engaged in communication with the Steelers after Brown failed to do so, both at the end of the 2018 season and during the first few weeks of the offseason. Brown's agent, Drew Rosenhaus, told reporters late last month that they had re-opened lines of communication with the Steelers. Rosenhaus, said that, while Brown and the Steelers have communicated, they are keeping those conversations in-house.”
