The Pittsburgh Steelers 2020 schedule has officially been released. The Steelers will open the season with a Monday night game against the New York Giants on Sept. 14.

The Steelers 2020 schedule will feature the NFC East and AFC South. Their schedule will include four primetime matchups, including one on Thanksgiving game against the Baltimore Ravens, the defending AFC North champions. Their other primetime games will be against the Cincinnati Bengals, New York Giants, and the New Orleans Saints.

The regular season will close out on January 3 against the Cleveland Browns, which should a much-anticipated matchup. According to Sporting News, the Steelers have the second-easiest schedule in the NFL by the record. This past season, their opponents had a combined 117-139 record for a .457 winning percentage.

With Ben Roethlisberger reportedly fully healthy, the Steelers can certainly make a  for the AFC North title. Last season, Roethlisberger missed a majority of the season last season due to a right elbow injury. However, the Steelers defense kept them in contention throughout the entire season for the Wild Card playoff seed. Nevertheless, all odds are on Steelers side to make the playoffs this upcoming season, they haven't missed the playoffs in three consecutive seasons since 1998-2000.

Despite the ongoing pandemic, the NFL is still planning on playing the entire 2020 season as scheduled. However, they'll for sure be increased protocols to ensure everyone's safety at the stadium. The NFL shut down its facilities back in March, but they've already set protocols for reopening team facilities.
