The Pittsburgh Steelers have yet another situation on their hands involving star wide receiver Antonio Brown deciding to stray away from the team for Monday's practice following Sunday's loss to the Kansas City Chiefs.

Brown has since returned to the team on Wednesday to which the team will reportedly not suspend him for his absence earlier this week, according to Gerry Dulac of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.

The Steelers will not punish receiver Antonio Brown with a suspension or one-game discipline and plan to use him Monday night in Tampa against the unbeaten Buccaneers, a team source told the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.

Instead of a suspension, Brown will likely be handed a fine by the team as his punishment for missing work on Monday.

It is a matter that the Steelers are looking to quickly put behind them and shift their focus directly to the Week 3 matchup against the upstart Tampa Bay Buccaneers that have mowed through the New Orleans Saints and defending Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles. Tampa Bay presents a formidable challenge in their quest to earn their first win of the season after what has been a rough start to the 2018 campaign.

The fact that the team has decided against suspending him doesn't rule out that he won't be fined for his decision to not show up as head coach Mike Tomlin in the past has had a strict rule on that matter throughout his tenure. Aside from that, it should erase the conversation about any potential trade request as Brown's agent has already dispelled that being the case through a public statement on Tuesday afternoon.

The Steelers will look to feature the 30-year-old heavily in the offensive game plan against the Buccaneers as he's a key factor to their passing game beyond just being one of the league's best wide receivers. He is already off to a strong start in the first two games played with 18 catches on 33 targets for 160 receiving yards and a touchdown.
