The Pittsburgh Steelers will have quarterback Ben Roethlisberger under center when they lock horns with bitter rivals Baltimore Ravens on the road this coming Sunday.

There were some concerns earlier this week about Big Ben’s availability for the Ravens game after fracturing his finger in last week’s 33-18 win over the Cleveland Browns, though, he was able to play through it. And while he missed Wednesday’s practice, he practiced in full on Thursday, which squashed any remaining doubts for his Week 9 status. The Steelers have also Roethlisberger’s name off the team’s final injury report this week, as noted on the team’s official website.

Roethlisberger missed practice on Wednesday, a combination of a fractured index finger on his left hand and a ‘coach’s decision,’ which has traditionally been a weekly off day for Roethlisberger. He was a full participant in practice on Thursday and Friday, and is not listed on the status report.

The Steelers currently sit atop the AFC North standings with a 4-2-1 record, while the Ravens are third with a 4-4 slate. A win this Sunday would ensure Pittsburgh of ownership of the division’s leadership for at least another week. The Bengals are second in the group with a 5-3 record, but is on a bye.

The Steelers lost to Baltimore at home back in Week 4, 26-14. In that game, Ben Roethlisberger had 274 passing yards and a touchdown against an interception on 27-of-completions.

On the season, Roethlisberger has 2,290 passing yards, 14 touchdowns, and seven interceptions.
