The departure of wide receiver Antonio Brown has left a notable void in the locker room of the Pittsburgh Steelers. It appears to have been filled by linebacker Devin Bush this offseason.

Brown's locker became somewhat of a treasure trove earlier this offseason. According to Mark Caboly of The Athletic, Pittsburgh has given it to Bush:

Steelers first-round pick Devin Bush was given Antonio Brown’s much sought-after corner locker stall.

Brown's looming departure dominated headlines throughout the offseason. When he made it clear he was not reporting back to practice, teammates raided his locker for all the gear he had left. It seems to have now been replaced with Bush's apparel.

His spot in the locker room is representative of what the Steelers hope to usher in this offseason. There has been plenty of speculation regarding team chemistry with Brown last season. The Steelers are now looking to usher in a new era by giving his former locker to this year's first-round pick.

Devin Bush was touted as one of the best defensive players in the 2019 NFL Draft. He capped his stellar career at Michigan as the Big Ten Defensive Player of The Year and consensus All-American. As a result, the Steelers traded up with the Denver Broncos to select him with the 10th overall pick.

There are high expectations that come with being a top-10 pick. Not only is Bush expected to make an immediate impact on the field, but the Steelers have also indicated that they would like him to take on a leadership role in the locker room as well.
