T.J Watt is all about the Pittsburgh Steelers having success, and that is the most important thing for him, but that doesn't mean he doesn't want to beat his brother J.J in total sacks this year. T.J. is currently sitting with eight sacks, while J.J has nine, and he admits beating him in the sack race would be nice.

T.J told Omnisport (via Yahoo) that the two brothers have a friendly rivalry, but it's nothing more than that.

“There is to a certain extent, but there's nothing [more to it].

“We just want to see each other succeed and hopefully I end up on top this year!

“It's all about the team. We just want to play as well as we possibly can and it doesn't matter who gets the accolades, who gets the success, we just want to have it as a whole.”

Both the Houston Texans and the Steelers are having a lot of success this year, and the two brothers are a big reason why. They are both currently riding five-game losing streaks and it looks like a showdown in the playoffs could be in the two teams futures.

Last Thursday, the Steelers took on the Carolina Panthers and the defense was the reason they came out ahead. The defense combined for five sacks of Cam Newton and Watt thought the defense was really clicking on all cylinders.

“On all cylinders we were clicking – in all three phases of the game,” Watt added.

“We've got things to go back and look at and make corrections of but for a short week I think we accomplished what we wanted to.”
