Could disgruntled wide receiver Antonio Brown stay with the Pittsburgh Steelers after all? Well, maybe, if he gets down on his hands and knees and pleads.

Mike Garafolo of NFL Network says there is a chance Brown could come back to the Steelers next season if he does some “groveling,” which would consist of Brown admitting his wrongs and saying he is okay with Pittsburgh siding with Ben Roethlisberger.

So, basically, Brown is getting traded, because let's be real here: that isn't going to happen.

In the week leading up to the Steelers' season finale, Brown had a heated argument with Roethlisberger that reportedly ended with him throwing a football at the quarterback. Brown then refused to practice, complained of knee pain but refused to go for an MRI, went AWOL on the team and was then consequently benched by head coach Mike Tomlin for Pittsburgh's Week 17 game against the Cincinnati Bengals.

Since then, Brown has done nothing to ingratiate himself to the Steelers' organization, making a mocking video with former Pittsburgh linebacker James Harrison, taking shots at former Steelers players who have criticized him and removing any Steelers-related information from his Twitter bio.

Taking all of that into consideration, it seems very hard to believe that Brown is going to beg Pittsburgh to stay.

The 31-year-old hauled in 104 receptions for 1,297 yards and a league-leading 15 touchdowns during the 2018 campaign en route to his sixth straight Pro Bowl selection and seventh trip to Honolulu overall.

Brown has also earned four First-Team All-Pro selections during is nine NFL seasons.
