In today's “will he or won't he” Antonio Brown drama, a new report suggests that things might finally be over between the wide receiver and the Steelers.

According to a report from Jeremy Fowler of ESPN, an ex-Steeler — who wasn't named for the story — recalls the time that Brown moseyed in to practice late, and coach Mike Tomlin dismissed it because it wasn't affecting either his or his team's performance.

“[Tomlin] essentially told the group, we'll tolerate it now because of what he brings on the field, but the minute production stops, you don't overlook it. This has been brewing for years. It's just now coming to the surface. And it's probably over.”

In total, more than 20 Steelers agreed to speak on the record about Antonio Brown, wherein they shared their frustrations with both him for his bad behavior, and the team's executives for allowing it to go unchecked for so long.

Most of their problems, they said, stemmed from the fact that Brown simply could not get along with quarterback Ben Roethlisberger. Even though they were able to create some amazing plays together, the two frequently butted heads, and the last encounter led to the wide receiver stomping off the field and getting benched for the remainder of the season.

Antonio Brown still has not announced, either way, if he will be staying with the Steelers or considering his other options. The draft opens up in March, and it should be interesting to see if the San Francisco 49ers ultimately end up taking Brown from the team that made him famous.
