The Pittsburgh Steelers have been the talk of the league lately, but it's for all the wrong reasons. Wide receiver Antonio Brown missed Week 17's matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals, and it was unfortunately the last game of the season for the Steelers after they narrowly missed playoffs thanks to the Baltimore Ravens holding off a comeback attempt by the Cleveland Browns.

Brown was thought to have missed the game due to a knee injury, but later reports, including him skipping a scheduled MRI, suggested Brown missed the game due to disciplinary reasons. Brown's teammates took exception to whatever is going on within the locker room.

Brown is normally the talk of the league for his talents on the field, not for any discrepancies off of it. No matter what happened, there has now been speculation that Brown will be the center of trade talks this offseason. The Steelers front office has since dismissed having trade discussions centered around the All-Pro receiver, in addition to head coach Mike Tomlin also discrediting any trade rumors.

The Steelers would need a very good reason to trade Brown considering his talent and their desire to resolve any issues in house and move forward. Brown has already been paid a hefty deal, so there are no issues on that front, but there are rumored issues between Brown and Ben Roethlisberger's relationship with Tomlin.

Whatever the case may be, it all appears to be speculation and rumors, so until something more concrete surfaces, the speculation of Brown's departure from Pittsburgh should be taken with a grain of salt.
