The Pittsburgh Steelers picked linebacker Devin Bush in the first round of the 2019 NFL Draft. In the sixth round they drafted Ulysees Gilbert III, another linebacker.

It didn't take the two long to get some chemistry it seems. Twitter user @SteelBlitzburgh posted a video showing the two training together.

Ulysees Gilbert actually posted it on Instagram, but it was just in his story.

Of course, that isn't the real story here. The real story is that fans of the Pittsburgh Steelers should be absolutely hyped.

First off, both look athletic in the video – extremely quick feet. Second, it's great to see rookies getting along and even better working out and staying ready. Third, there's a long layoff between the Super Bowl and week 1 of the regular season. Football fans need little things like this to keep them excited.

The biggest news surrounding the Steelers this offseason was the official departure of both Le'Veon Bell and Antonio Brown. That has overshadowed a lot, but fans should still be extremely optimistic about this team. Bush will immediately bring a lot of energy to the defense and could establish himself as a great linebacker immediately.

Gilbert has loads of potential as well and soon enough could be playing a big part in the defense alongside Bush.

Both linebackers are just trying to pass the time until football season, just like the rest of us. They're doing it in the most productive way possible though, and they're giving us a glimpse at the process.

The Pittsburgh Steelers open up training camp on July 25. Devin Bush and Ulysees Gilbert III seem ready.
