The Pittsburgh Steelers are off to a slow start on the season, with a 1-4 record. However, they are off to a fast start in their Week 6 Sunday Night Football matchup with the Los Angeles Chargers.

The first half ended with the Steelers up 21-0. It was running back James Conner that did the most damage.

After a defensive touchdown opened the scoring, Conner found the end zone on a 12-yard touchdown run. He wasn't done though. The running back then took to the air, scoring a receiving touchdown in the second quarter.

Conner's 25-yard touchdown reception was incredibly impressive. He caught a short swing pass, and immediately broke a tackle. Then he sprinted away from the rest of the defense and found the end zone for a second time in the first half.

Conner had a slow start to the year, just like his team. He had 194 yards and two touchdowns on 58 carries (3.3 yards per carry) and 19 receptions for 153 yards and one extra touchdown.

Things turned around quickly for him in this game though.

Conner has 10 carries for 39 yards and five receptions for 51 yards at the half. Of course, he has those two touchdowns as well.

If Conner is starting to catch fire, that's major news for the Steelers. They are in desperate need of a spark to fix their season, and it looks like he could be that spark.

With a full second half to add on, this could end up being an absolutely massive game for Conner. That's something he made a nearly weekly occurrence last season, now he seems to be getting back to those ways in 2019.
