Despite suffering a severe lower leg injury less than a month ago, there has been little doubt about superstar wide receiver Antonio Brown's availability for the playoffs. Not only was Brown adamant about returning as soon as possible, but even teammates were almost certain that he would be good to go when the time came.

Needless to say, not much has changed following the team's first-round bye in the AFC Playoffs. According to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler, Brown fully expects to play on Sunday versus the Jacksonville Jaguars:

“It's the playoffs — you've go to do whatever it takes,” said Brown.

Despite his certainty, Brown acknowledged that nothing is quite set in stone just yet.

“We'll see how it goes and how the week progressed. I feel I was able to go through practice,” said Brown. “I can still get a little better, but it was good to be out there. … There's still a lot to test. First day of the week.”

The All-Pro wideout is said to have completed the majority of practice on Monday. That certainly bodes well for his status moving forward. Pittsburgh is undoubtedly much more formidable with Brown in the lineup. Brown still comfortably led the league with 1,533 receiving yards despite missing a couple of games this season.

One person who would be especially grateful for his return is veteran quarterback Ben Roethlisberger. Roethlisberger recently made headlines after admitting to wanting a rematch with the Jaguars in the playoffs. Now that he has gotten his wish, having Brown among his receiving weapons could pay huge dividends against the league's best defense.
