Pittsburgh Steelers receiver Martavis Bryant seems like he will be heavily involved in the National Football League news cycle until the end of the season. If not that, at least until if/when the talented youngster is traded by the Steelers.

Speaking on that subject, according to a report from NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport on NFL Gameday Morning on Sunday, multiple contending teams have been in contact with the Steelers about Bryant. It is also worth noting that Rapoport did mention that the New England Patriots inquired about Bryant around the 2017 NFL Draft.

What does all of that mean? Nothing … yet.

This comes only a week after multiple outlets reported that Martavis Bryant was demanding a trade.

According to a report by ESPN at the time:

“He wants out,” a source close to Bryant said to ESPN. “Point blank.”

Since then, however, Bryant has said he will do whatever he can if he stays with the Steelers to help them win. He has also refuted the report that he demanded for a trade in the first place.

Bryant will, reportedly, be inactive on Sunday. When Bryant was asked why he won’t be playing Sunday, he simply told ESPN's Jeremy Fowler, “social media.”

Also Per Fowler:

“If I’m not traded I’m going to work my butt off here, and whatever happens happens. You’re not going to hear me complaining no more. I’m just going to be quiet and let everything fall into place.”

Martavis Bryant is too talented to not be playing football. Whether it is a trade or just fixing his issues with Pittsburgh, here is to hoping things get figured out sooner rather than later.
