Many wonder how players with big endorsement deals with sneaker companies, especially the ones with signature shoes, choose which pair to use during games. Golden State WarriorsStephen Curry is one of them as he is an endorser for his own kicks with Under Armour.

Aside from his accuracy from beyond the three-point line, the back-to-back MVP is also known for his pre-game routine. However, according to the Warriors' equipment manager, Eric Housen, there's more to his ritual than dribbling with two balls and shooting from the tunnel.

During morning shootarounds, Curry wears low-tops before switching to his more familiar mid-cuts right before the game starts which Housen is tasked to unbox and prepare for him to wear.

Curry apparently has a sneaker calendar sent by Under Armour which Housen manages.

He recently talked about his inbox getting flooded by the sneaker and apparel manufacturer but made it clear that he is not complaining about it even if he has to sometimes pack 16 pairs during road trips just to make sure the team complies with their player's endorsement contract.

“These are good problems,” Housen said. “I just love Steph.”

Many of the credit is given to players who are seen scoring and defending during games, but team personnel like Housen are the unsung heroes of a franchise who makes sure they wear what's best for them and they feel good when they play.
