Warriors‘ star Steph Curry has been out for the passed two weeks due to a knee injury suffered in the Warriors' opening playoff series versus the Houston Rockets. There have been rumors that he could possibly play in Game 3 of the Western Conference semifinals against the Trail Blazers, but now it looks like that most likely won't be the case.

According to Rusty Simmons of The San Francisco Chronicle, Warriors' head coach Steve Kerr told reporters that Steph will most likely sit for Game 3.

With the Warriors ahead 2-0 in the series heading to Portland, there's no rush for the team to get their star back in action until he is absolutely ready.

If the Warriors can pull off another win in Game 3 and Curry is still less than 100%, there's a strong chance they sit him until the conference finals where they expect to play the Spurs who finished with the second best record in the league and pose the greatest threat to the Warriors repeat championship.
