The Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards is an annual awards show that airs on Nickelodeon, honoring the year's biggest tv, movie, and sports stars, voted on by Nickelodeon viewers.

Award winners receive a hollow orange blimp figurine, which also functions as a kaleidoscope.

This year, Golden State Warriors star and NBA MVP Stephen Curry was nominated for three awards: Best Male Athlete, Clutch Player of the Year, and Sickest Moves.

After spending some time taking pictures on the red carpet with his wife Ayesha, Curry learned that he had won two of the three nominations: Sickest Moves and Clutch Player of the Year.

Curry took the Clutch Player of the Year trophy but confessed that he felt he wasn’t the one who deserved it, most likely still reflecting on his not-so-MVP-like Finals performance against the Cleveland Cavaliers just a month ago.

There was much discussion about how Curry had the worst dips in performance for a regular season MVP in the Finals, as he struggled to find his rhythm against Cleveland as the Dubs fell in seven games.

During his speech, Curry also told the kids that he would put the award on a mantle and use it as motivation to be better next year.

Despite this year's Finals defeat, Curry has all the motivation and reinforcements he needs after gaining a new star ally in Kevin Durant and winning the hearts of the kids.
