Golden State Warriors star guard Stephen Curry has developed the reputation as being one of the best shooters the NBA has ever seen.

Much of this has been centered around his ability to hit consistently from long distance. During a recent event at one of his stops during his current tour in China, Curry missed all five attempts from half court that would have donated $1,000 each to charity.

This is shades of what he was unable to do at the All-Star weekend earlier this earlier year as he repeatedly missed shots from that distance for the Craig Sager charity. It's not a strike against Curry in any manner, but it's come to be expected that he can drill that shot given that he's made in numerous times to beat the buzzer over the last few seasons.

That said, this speaks to the massive amount of respect for his outside shooting ability. In the last four seasons, he has earned the reputation as being arguably the best shooter that NBA has ever seen. It puts him on the short list of players such as Ray Allen and Reggie Miller that have been recognized with that prestigious title.

As for his shortcomings at this event, Curry will have plenty of chances to redeem himself in the near future.
