It's safe to say that Stephen Curry belongs in any list of mind-boggling achievements. With all the shots he makes, it's easy to forget about his stat lines that don't mention his 3-point shot in the same sentence.

With that said, here is a rundown of five spectacular statistical feats to remind you how insanely good the Golden State Warriors star is.

5. Largest scoring increase by reigning MVP

On his way to becoming the unanimous MVP in the 2015-2016 season, Stephen Curry also broke an MVP.

In Curry's first MVP season in 2014-15, he averaged 23.8 points per game. In the following year, he popped it up to 30.1 points per outing. This awarded him the record of the largest scoring increase by a reigning MVP in NBA history with a 6.3 points-per-game improvement.

4. 90.6% from the free-throw line

It definitely makes sense that since he is so good from 3-point territory, he can also replicate it on the free-throw line.

Curry has a 90.6 shooting percentage from 2,827 free-throw attempts throughout his career (as of 2019-20 season). For what it's worth, the only players better than him in this category had only 371 or fewer freebie attempts.

3. 51 points with only one free throw

Sometimes we see James Harden with 24 free throws attempts, and sometimes we see Curry with just 1.

On Feb. 25, 2016, the Warriors played against the Orlando Magic and Curry dominated with 51 points on 20-of-27 shooting from the field. Moreover, he was able to do this with only a single free throw attempt in the entire game. Up until today, that's the only instance when a player scored more than 50 points in a game with only one or fewer attempts from the free-throw line.

2. Highest scoring average in a 50-40-90 season

The 50-40-90 club is reserved for the elites. Nevertheless, Curry went the extra mile.

This club is defined as shooting at least 50 percent from the field, 40 percent from 3-point range, and 90 percent from the free-throw line. Throughout the years, there have been only eight players to achieve this feat. Out of all those instances, nobody averaged more points in that 50-40-90 season than Curry did in 2015-2016 with 30.1 points per game.

There has literally never been anyone like him in terms of efficiency and potency.

1. Most points scored in a single overtime

Coming off an injury? No problem. Rusty? Nope.

In 2016, the Warriors were up against the Portland Trail Blazers in Game 5 of the second-round of the playoffs. Curry went off for 17 points in overtime to lead his team to a 132-125 win.

The feat set the record for most points scored in a single overtime in NBA history.
