One of the best players in the NBA, Golden State Warriors All-Star point guard Stephen Curry is a man of many talents on the court. But that's not all, Curry is also quite talented off the court, especially on the golf course.

But how good is Curry at golf? Could he actually be a pro golfer?

Curry answered that question, and more, in an interview with Golf Channel’s David Feherty on Monday. The reigning MVP also hinted at perhaps playing golf full-time after he retires.

Curry's interview with Feherty was transcribed by the Bay Area News Group's Daniel Mano:

“I’ve thought about it,” Curry replied. “I’m very sensitive to the experience of the PGA Tour guys out there who have dedicated their life to what they do, just like I have with basketball. I don’t think I could, obviously, just jump out there … It’d be a lot of work that would go into it…”

Feherty noted that Curry has the right mindset for golf.

“I have the passion for the game, I think, to fight through whatever it would take,” Curry said. “I don’t know if it’s in the cards after I’m done playing, but I will still be playing golf until (my NBA career) is over.”

Stephen Curry is in the prime of his career and is nowhere near retirement. But with golf, it sounds like he has a good post-NBA plan in place.
