Earlier today, the Golden State Warriors handed the Houston Rockets their first loss in the playoffs. With a dominating 104-78 win, the Oakland team was sitting pretty in their home stadium.

Star point guard Stephen Curry, however, had a shorter game than he probably anticipated. Near the end of the first half, Curry had to head back to the locker room when he noticed discomfort in his ankle.

With under three minutes left in the game, Curry again made an early exit for the locker room. He only played 20 minutes in the game, scoring 24 points and grabbing seven rebounds.

The Warriors hope this will not become a major impediment for Curry's playoff performance.

Of course with basically the entire playoffs still looming, Curry may not necessarily need to play all 48 minutes of these first round showings.

The Warriors managed to hold off the Rockets well throughout the second half without their star player.
