Stephen Curry was the seventh overall pick in the 2009 draft out of Davidson. When the Golden State Warriors drafted Curry, no one saw the kind of success he has had coming.

Not only has Steph established himself as the greatest shooter in NBA history, but he's also made $168,463,505 from his contracts with the Dubs, per Spotrac. Throw in three championships and two MVPs, and you can see why Curry will be a first-ballot Hall of Famer one day, both in the basketball and financial world.

After getting drafted by the Warriors, Stephen Curry signed a two-year, $5.62 million rookie contract with the Dubs. The sharpshooter averaged 17.5 points and 5.9 assists during his rookie season while making $2,710,560.

In 2010-11, Curry's second season in the NBA, the guard made $2,913,840. He also increased his scoring average to 18.6 points and led the league in free-throw percentage at 93.4 percent.

Stephen Curry was primed to make the All-Star team in his third year in the league. Unfortunately, the Ohio native needed ankle surgery and only appeared in 26 games. Curry made $2,508,901 but there were questions about his long-term durability in the NBA.

However, as he's done his entire life, Stephen Curry proved the naysayers wrong. After signing a four-year, $44 million rookie contract extension before the start of the 2012-13 season, Steph played in 78 games that campaign and averaged 22.9 points while shooting 45.3 percent from beyond the arc. He earned $3,958,742, with his extension set to kick in during the 2013-14 season.

Curry made his first All-Star team during the 2013-14 campaign. He finished the season with averages of 24.0 points and 8.5 assists. Steph made $9,887,642 that season. That's the last year the superstar has made under $10 million annually.

In the 2014-15 season, Stephen Curry won his first MVP award and championship. Steph averaged 23.8 points and 7.7 assists while hitting 286 shots from beyond the arc. He made $10,629,213 and was just beginning his dominance on the NBA.

In 2015-16, Curry won the MVP award again, this time in unanimous fashion. While making $11,370,786, Steph averaged 30.1 points per game and hit 402 3s. He guided the Warriors to an NBA record 73 wins.

However, the magical season ended in heartbreak when LeBron James, Kyrie Irving and the Cleveland Cavaliers defeated the Warriors in the 2016 Finals in seven games. The Dubs became the first team in NBA history to blow a 3-1 series lead in the Finals.

However, Stephen Curry and the Warriors rebounded by winning two titles in a row in 2017 and 2018. More importantly for Steph and his family, the Dubs legend signed a lucrative five-year, $201.2 million contract in the summer of 2017.

Curry made $34,682,550 in 2017-18 and $37,457,154 last season. The future Hall of Famer was making $40,231,758 this season before the campaign was suspended due to COVID-19.

Stephen Curry has career averages of 23.5 points, 4.5 rebounds and 6.6 assists with the Warriors. Whenever the NBA starts back up again, he will eventually pass Ray Allen for most 3-pointers in league history.
