Longtime NBA journeyman Stephen Jackson is attempting an NBA comeback.

In an interview with ‘Elevate Above The Rim‘ in Sirius XM NBA Radio, the 6-foot-8 forward gave his thoughts on possible destinations:

“I love the Knicks, I love Chicago, even love New Orleans. I think those are great places where I can be a great teammate and also help the team become a better team.”

Unlike other veterans, Jackson insisted his desire to play has nothing to do with winning another championship:

“I'm not one of those guys that's chasing the ring. I have one so I'm not one of those guys looking to be part of a championship team and get the ring and not really earn it.”

Jackson has seen his offensive prowess diminish as he's failed to average double digits scoring in his last three seasons in the NBA.

He last played in the 2013-2014 season with the L.A. Clippers, only making nine appearances and averaging 1.7 points per game.

It's expected that if he were to sign with an NBA team, it would be for the veteran minimum of $874,636.
