Stephon Marbury may have last played in the NBA during the 2008-2009 season, but it doesn't mean he's not a basketball superstar anymore.

The 6-foot-2 Georgia Tech product has become one of the most popular players in China where he has spent most of the past seven years. Just recently, he released his latest signature shoe that is truly one-of-a-kind and goes to show how much Chinese businessmen are willing to invest in him.

The Starbury Elite sneakers are controlled by an app via bluetooth and flashes lights and can detect the beats to music. Marbury discussed that the project took seven months to complete and the technology had to be polished first before bringing them to the U.S.

Marbury also took to Twitter and Instagram and shared a video which shows how easy it is to control using the app.

With the advanced technology the signature sneakers have, it's easy to assume that it would cost a fortune to purchase a pair. Truth is, it only sells for $49.98. Marbury explains why they decided to lower the price of his shoes in a series of tweets.
