Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr is expected to join his team for the first time in 10 games in Saturday's upcoming road trip to the AT&T Center for Game 3 against the San Antonio Spurs, president Bob Myers told 95.7 The Game on Wednesday afternoon via The San Jose Mercury News.

While he will be present with the team, he is not expected to coach during Games 3 or 4, as acting head coach Mike Brown will continue his duties at the helm, per Myers.

Kerr had traveled to Duke University less than two weeks ago to see a specialist in order to undergo a procedure to cease the spinal fluid leak from his back surgery two years ago.

The 51-year-old coach was part of the team's practices prior to the start of the Western Conference Finals as well as delivering mic'd up halftime speeches in each of the first two games of the series.

Golden State is a perfect 10-0 this postseason, including a 8-0 win-loss record under Brown during his stint as an acting head coach.

Prior to his trip to North Carolina, Kerr told the media that he was actively exploring a way to treat his symptoms for good, rather than have to deal with them as he has the past two seasons. His decision would be a firm one, choosing to either continue coaching the team or even go as far as to stop coaching altogether.
