Bismack Biyombo signed with the Phoenix Suns earlier this season on a deal barely over $1 million. However, the big man is donating all of his earnings to a hospital in his homeland of Congo in honor of his late father, who passed away last August.

Grab the tissues:

That's absolutely heartwarming from Biyombo, who is giving back to his roots in Africa. You honestly have to appreciate that gesture. The Suns center actually didn't sign with anyone earlier in the 2021/22 campaign because he was grieving from the death of his dad, with who Biyombo was extremely close.

The Congo native joined the Suns in January on a 10-day deal and after impressing early on, Phoenix signed him for the rest of the season. He's actually been a really nice addition to Monty Williams' group, averaging 6.8 points and 5.4 rebounds off the bench and giving the Suns more frontcourt depth.

Biyombo started the Bismack Biyombo Foundation in 2016 and they donated a total $1 million in medical supplies in 2020 to the people of Congo during the COVID-19 pandemic. He's always doing things to help his country and this latest move is a testament to just that. Biyombo is truly a great human being who does all he can to make the lives better for the people in Congo.
