There is a reason why Chris Paul is called the Point God, and he showed that once again as he led the Phoenix Suns to a big win over the New Orleans Pelicans on Tuesday.

Chris Paul dissected the Pelicans' defense like a true maestro en route to 11 points, five rebounds and 15 assists in 35 minutes of play. His Suns teammates made the most out of CP3's passing genius, with Devin Booker and Mikal Bridges combining 56 points in the 123-110 victory.

In the process, Paul tied Isiah Thomas' record for the most games with 15 or more assists. He now has 98 career games with such number, which is good for fifth in NBA history (via ESPN Stats & Info).

What makes the feat even more incredible is the fact that it is already Paul's third straight game against the Pelicans with 15 dimes. Simply put, he has New Orleans' number–which has to be frustrating for the franchise who groomed him to be the All-Star he is.

The Suns have struggled as of late after losing Deandre Ayton to health and safety protocols. However, they have now won their last two games and appear to be trending up in a bid to fight for the top seed in the Western Conference.

Phoenix is certainly lucky to have a veteran leader like Paul dictating the offense. With him on the floor, they will always be tough opponents to crack.

Furthermore, by the looks of it, Chris Paul won't have to share the fifth spot on the 15-assist record with Isiah Thomas sooner rather than later.
